8400 High-Res Pics of Moon Mission available on Flickr

Apollo Moon Mission
Written by Staff

8400+ of high resolution photographs of the Apollo Moon Mission were released on Flickr gallery by the Project Apollo Archive.

These photographs were taken by Apollo astronauts during their Moon Mission. This repository was created by Kipp Teague in 1999. The gallery has original NASA photo scans and unprocessed versions.

This gallery has scans from the original Johnson Space Center scans received by Teague. Don’t expect high resolution images from Apollo 8 or Apollo 13 though.

The photographs were taken by their chest-mounted Hasselblad cameras and the collection is a complete record of their Moon Mission experience.
