Who am I?

I am Chitraparna Sinha, the founder of SocialVani.

I am 26-years old, working as a full-time self-employed content strategist for the last 4 years. Never in my wildest dreams, I thought to become a writer. My life moved in a conventional way. Do graduation, do post-graduation, get a job and settle down.

After I completed post-graduation in English Literature, my life took a turn for the better.

I started with ghost writing for an Indian company as a means to generate some money for personal expenses. Slowly, I explored other avenues and soon started earning what even my peers are not earning today.

Leaving the conventional expectation behind was tough. I spent some time convincing parents and near ones that a “job” is not for me, at least not a private company job.

Some still frown upon my decision but I have moved beyond bothering what other think.

I don’t have to conform to anyone.

Why Blogging?

Blogging happened entirely by chance. I started SocialVani in October 2011. I was actively involved in ghost blogging and ghostwriting other kinds of online content. I observed how the blogging clients were prospering using the ghostwritten content.

Slowly, I became more interested. I started digging around. I learnt about starting a blog, getting a domain name, adding banners, monitoring traffic, writing and uploading content and the learning process still continues.

The one person who can be wholesomely credited with helping and guiding me in my blogging career is Shankar Bakshi. He is an immensely talented person and the only affiliate marketer from India whom I follow and seek guidance. He is the founder of Net Profit Mantra.

Purpose of SocialVani

SocialVani exists for bloggers, freelance writers and small business owners who seek actionable online resources to further their work.

Professionally, SocialVani gives me a medium to further my profession as a content strategist. I use the site to collect business leads and convert them into paying clients. I work with people from USA, Canada, Middle-East, UK and Asia.
